About this contract

Competent consultancy companies are hereby invited to tender to design, develop and deliver a shared history and culture programme that will increase participants' knowledge and understanding of individual, family and collective history through the exploration of Hanna's Close, a preserved Ulster-Scots clachan (settlement) in Aughnahoory, Kilkeel. The programme will place a particular emphasis on genealogy; tracing family connections linked to Hanna's Close and examining patterns of emigration from the settlement. How to win contracts like this

• ✓Answer against the marking scheme, not the question text — Newry, Mourne and Down District Council (NMD) scores each response, so map your evidence to the published criteria and weightings.
• ✓At £8,099, expect quality and social value to carry a large share of the score — price alone rarely wins services work.
• ✓Show recent, comparable delivery: name similar services contracts you've delivered for public bodies, with measurable outcomes.
• ✓Start early: it closes 29 October 2026 and a strong bid takes iteration.

BidWriter drafts your responses from your company profile, scores them against the marking scheme, and tracks your whole pipeline. Free to start — no card needed.
