Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board requires a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake the replacement of the existing heating plant serving the Pharmacy Department at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. The project involves the removal of three existing Remeha Gas 210 ECO natural gas boilers and the installation of three new Remeha Gas 210 Ace 120/4 sectional boilers within the Pharmacy Plantroom located on the second floor of the hospital. The works comprise a turnkey mechanical and electrical installation project and will include the phased removal and replacement of the existing boilers, modification and reconnection of associated pipework and services, integration with the existing Building Management System (BMS), alterations to electrical supplies where required, testing and commissioning, production of record drawings and operation and maintenance manuals, and all associated builders' works necessary to complete the installation. The successful contractor will also be responsible for fulfilling the role of Principal Contractor under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and for preparing and implementing the Construction Phase Plan.
