Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) are looking to procure video conferencing equipment and would like to establish a support and maintenance contract alongside for these devices to assist the local BCUHB support teams to manage and support its PolyCom Video Conferencing estate. BCUHB has a number of Video Conferencing codec endpoints still in use across its sites within North Wales. Most of these endpoints are located in the three District General Hospitals at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Ysbyty Wrexham Maelor, Ysbyty Glan Clwyd and at some of the eighteen Community Hospital sites across North Wales. The health board use Microsoft Teams for much of its collaboration and videoconferencing requirement but also use PolyCom endpoints in situations where a room-based system is required (e.g. large meeting rooms, and Multi-Disciplinary Clinical Meetings). The health board also subscribe to a PexIP CVI SaaS service allowing legacy non-MS Teams codecs to interoperate with MS Teams meetings as required.
