About this contract

Bron Afon Community Housing intends to establish an open framework scheme for the provision of additional contractor capacity and specialist support to its Direct Labour Organisation (DLO). The framework will support Bron Afon's in-house DLO function and is not intended to replace or fully outsource that function. The procurement is divided into nine Lots covering General Repairs; Gas, Heating & Plumbing Repairs including Out of Hours; Heating Installations; Roofing Repairs; Highway Works; Doors & Windows (Glazing); Drainage & Groundworks; External Garden Works; and Whole House Refurbishment. The open framework scheme will operate for a maximum period of 8 years and will be reopened through the award of successive frameworks on substantially the same terms in accordance with section 49 of the Procurement Act 2023. Appointment to the framework does not guarantee any minimum volume or value of work.
