Leicester City Council ('the 'Authority') in addition to Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland NHS Integrated Care Board invited Tenders for the provision of the Home Care Service, Leicester. Leicester City Council led the procurement on behalf of Leicester City Council and Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB). The purpose of the Home Care Service is to provide support to People in their own homes so that they can remain living at home for as long as possible. Home Care Service Providers will promote independence and support People to maintain their existing skills and/or acquire new skills to ensure the best quality of life possible. The Authority has awarded Framework Agreements for each Lot. The maximum number of providers to be awarded a Framework Agreement for each Lot is 30 for Lot 1 - 'General Home Care Support', and 5 for Lot 2 - 'High Dependency Home Care Support'. Tenderers should note that both Lots 1 and 2 services are commissioned for the Authority and the LLR ICB.
