The framework will support Local Authorities in securing suitable foster care placements in accordance with assessed need and statutory responsibilities. The anticipated framework start date is 1 April 2027; however, this date is subject to change, as extension options remain available under the current framework arrangement. The estimated value of the framework is approximately £65 million per annum. This value is indicative only and may vary depending on the level of need, demand, and placement requirements across each Local Authority.
