Description of Procurement The Ministry of Defence (MOD) (“the Authority”) intends to award a contract to Accuracy International Ltd for the continued through-life support, maintenance and repair of the in-service sniper rifle capability (L115A3, L115A4, L118A2 and L121A2), together with the provision of additional sniper rifles as required during the contract period. The previous Accuracy International Ltd combined contract this contract is replacing was awarded on a single source basis under the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations (DSPCR). Accuracy International Ltd are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Design Authority (DA) for the equipment currently in service. The proposed direct award is limited to sustaining the existing assured in-service capabilities, including the procurement of additional units of the same assured capability, until the planned Out of Service Date (OSD) of the L121 and L115A3/A4 sniper rifles (longest OSDs). Estimated Contract Value £500,000 (estimated) Contract Duration Four (4) Years.
