Queen’s University requires an integrated compression moulding machine (vertical press) with bolt-on injection unit. This fully integrated machine will be located at the AMIC Harbour Facility, Queen’s Island, Belfast and used in Research and Development projects to over-mould thermoplastic polymers onto a range of composite structures in a single manufacturing step. The machine will be utilised primarily for research purposes, resulting in lower hours run compared to a manufacturing environment.
